Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

We are seeking an experienced Senior I&E Technician to support a newly acquired pipeline system. This role is ideal for a highly self-sufficient professional who can independently maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize instrumentation and electrical systems to ensure safe, accurate, and reliable operations.

You will play a key role in stabilizing and improving newly integrated assets, identifying system gaps, and driving operational enhancements with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC-based control systems (programming and diagnostics experience required)
• Monitor and manage field operations using ZD SCADA
• Configure and maintain data communications via cellular modems
• Perform calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Coriolis meters
• Ensure accurate oil & gas measurement and custody transfer standards
• Support system integration efforts following acquisition, including identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements
• Work independently in field environments with a strong focus on reliability and safety

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in instrumentation and electrical systems within oil & gas or pipeline operations
• Strong PLC experience (programming, troubleshooting, and system optimization)
• Hands-on experience with SCADA systems (ZD SCADA preferred)
• Experience with cellular communication systems/modems
• Deep understanding of oil & gas measurement practices (custody transfer experience strongly preferred)
• Proven ability to work independently and solve complex technical issues with minimal supervision

Preferred:

• Direct experience with Coriolis meter calibration and diagnostics
• Background supporting pipeline systems or midstream operations
