Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Developer to help design, implement, customize, and support business-critical ERP functionality across multiple operational areas.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience implementing D365 F&O modules, developing custom code and integrations, and partnering directly with business stakeholders to deliver practical, scalable ERP solutions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving operational and financial process challenges while building and supporting custom functionality within the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, configure, and optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations functionality
  • Design, develop, and maintain customizations, extensions, integrations, workflows, and reports within D365 F&O
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective technical solutions
  • Support and improve business processes across:
  • Finance & Accounting
  • Production & Manufacturing
  • Engineering
  • Warehouse Management
  • Purchasing & Procurement
  • Inventory Management
  • Develop and maintain X++ code and related D365 development artifacts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, integration failures, and system performance concerns
  • Participate in testing, deployments, upgrades, and ongoing system enhancements
  • Assist with user training, documentation, and support initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external implementation partners to ensure successful project delivery
  • Recommend process improvements and system enhancements that increase operational efficiency and scalability

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and/or Dynamics AX
  • Strong experience developing custom code, modifications, and integrations within D365 F&O
  • Proficiency with:
  • X++
  • Extensions and customization frameworks
  • Integrations and APIs
  • Data entities and data management
  • Workflows and business process automation
  • Reporting and customization tools
  • Solid understanding of ERP implementation methodologies and best practices
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

  • Full lifecycle ERP implementation experience
