About Us

Que Blackout Youth Theater is a creative arts program dedicated to helping young people build confidence, discipline, and self-expression through acting, singing, and dance. We prioritize a supportive, empowering environment where students can grow both on and off the stage.


Role Overview

We are seeking an engaging and reliable Acting Instructor to lead weekly youth classes. This role offers creative freedom to design and implement lessons that build acting fundamentals while keeping students inspired and excited to learn.


Responsibilities

  • Lead structured, engaging acting classes for youth
  • Teach fundamentals (improv, character development, voice, movement)
  • Create lesson plans and activities appropriate for varying skill levels
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Prepare students for performances/showcases as needed


Qualifications

  • Experience in acting, theater, or drama instruction
  • Comfortable working with children/teens
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Reliable and consistent attendance
  • Passion for youth development through the arts
