Part Time Costume Design Teacher

Carney, Sandoe & Associates, an education recruitment firm, is currently seeking a Part Time Costume Design Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at an independent school in Bethesda, MD.

Essential Duties:

• Support school's drama department with costuming for school productions.
• Teach costume design course for upper school students.
• Serve as an advisor for students ensuring student success.
• Collaborate with performing arts department to plan, design, and execute 4 school productions per year.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Theater, Education, or related required.
• Previous experience working in theater productions.
• Experience working with students in grades K-12.
• Extensive knowledge of technical theater, theater equipment, and best practices.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
