Job Description

Seeking a talented Structural Steel Detailer to join a dynamic Structural Steel Design/Build firm specializing in the design and construction of warehouse and distribution centers to mid-rise multi-story structures. This role is based in Cincinnati, OH, and offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects within the steel industry.

Responsibilities

• Adapt Structural and Architectural drawings into fabrication shop drawings and field use erection plans.
• Coordinate and design with customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Attend design and job site meetings.
• Print, email, and distribute plans, RFPs, and other documents.
• Write RFIs and submittals.
• Print drawings for estimating and fabrication purposes.
• Enter bill of material from drawings into EJE software.
• Create job schedules.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Essential Skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to convert architectural drawings into shop drawings.
• Understanding of building design, including blueprint reading.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with a Building Design experience for commercial buildings.
• Exposure to Revit and AutoCAD is a plus

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blue Ash, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.00/hr.
