Gravis Law, PLLC is seeking a Social Security Disability Case Manager / Paralegal to join our growing team. At Gravis Law, we make world-class legal services uncomplicated and accessible to the people and communities we serve nationwide.

In this role, you’ll support attorneys and clients through the Social Security Disability (SSD/SSDI) process—from initial application through hearings and appeals. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on SSDI experience who thrives in a client-focused, fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping individuals navigate complex systems to secure critical benefits.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a caseload of Social Security Disability matters, tracking deadlines and case milestones across all stages of the process.
  • Assist with preparation and submission of SSD/SSI applications, reconsiderations, and hearing requests.
  • Gather and organize medical records, employment history, and supporting documentation.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, request information, and guide them through next steps.
  • Coordinate with medical providers, SSA offices, and third-party vendors to obtain records and status updates.
  • Prepare case summaries, medical chronologies, and hearing packets for attorney review.
  • Support attorneys in preparing for administrative hearings, including exhibit organization and briefing assistance.
  • Maintain accurate and organized client files in digital systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, templates, and client communication processes.
  • Occasionally assist with front desk coverage to ensure a seamless client experience.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of Social Security Disability (SSD/SSDI or SSI) experience in a legal or advocacy setting (required).
  • Strong understanding of the Social Security Disability process, timelines, and documentation requirements.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills, with the ability to work compassionately with individuals facing medical and financial challenges.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); experience with case management systems preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and commitment to client advocacy.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
