Director of Worship Arts Tabor College announces an opening for the Director of Worship Arts , a leadership position dedicated to building upon the College’s strong tradition of student -led worship and developing it into a regionally recognized resource for excellent worship leadership. The Director of Worship Arts will actively recruit and mentor students, collaborate with Enrollment to gro w participation in C ontemporary C hristian Music (CCM), and provide visionary leadership that equips future worship leaders an d advances Christ’s Kingdom through music and worship. This position is divided among CCM Director (50%) , providing leadership through recruiting, training, and directing CCM ensembles for chapels and ex ternal worship engagements; Technic al Director (25%) , coordinating sound, video, and production support for performing arts activ ities; and Teaching Responsibilities (25%) , teaching undergraduate courses as needed. Qualifications: • Master’s Degree preferred, experienced worship lead ers without graduate degrees will be considered . • Two years of direct experience or four years in a r elated area required . • Direct experience with technical direction preferre d. • Ability to utilize strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication s kills. • Commitment to Christian faith and the college’s Chr istian liberal arts mission is essential.
