Leads development and enhancement activities for new and existing surgical services, presenting financial proformas, new business plans and program recommendations to senior leadership.
Leads the development and implementation of education and training to surgical services staff on relevant clinical and leadership competencies and other educational needs.
Develops and implements peri-operative education, including assessing learning needs, planning education offerings, delivering training, and evaluating programs.
Ensures compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements impacting surgical services, including The Joint Commission standards.
