Director of Patient Services Summary:
- Participates in planning, policy development and priority setting. Ensures that nursing and other assigned clinical areas have policies that are consistent with the overall goals of the health system.
- Ensures compliance in the provision of care to quality and safety standards.
- Maintains a competent workforce adhering to regulatory guidelines (financial, employment, AHCA and Joint Commission) and established national standards of care.
- Collaborates with other directors, administrators, medical staff and other departments to provide and maintain optimal services in a cost effective manner.
- Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.
- This role oversees Women's Services at both Winter Haven Women's Hospital and South Florida Baptist
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience:
- Required Experience includes 4 years in Healthcare Leadership or 3 years in Nursing Leadership w/ MSN or Doctorate's Nursing and RN Certification.
Education:
- Required Education includes MSN or BSN and Masters Degree in related field.
Credentials:
- Required: Registered Nurse
- Preferred: Nurse Specialist
