Director of Operations

Overview

A growing, client-focused financial services firm is seeking a Director of Operations to lead and optimize internal operations while helping deliver a best-in-class client experience.

This is a high-impact leadership role sitting at the center of the organization—overseeing day-to-day operations, managing and developing teams, and driving process improvement across the business. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where client experience and operational excellence are top priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily operations across client service, new business, and administrative functions
• Serve as a key liaison between leadership, internal teams, and external vendors
• Manage, mentor, and develop operations staff while driving accountability and performance
• Implement and refine processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and service quality
• Monitor and report on KPIs, operational metrics, and overall business health
• Ensure a seamless, high-touch client experience across all service channels
• Oversee CRM management, data integrity, and workflow optimization
• Handle escalations, resolve client issues, and ensure service standards are consistently met
• Support leadership with strategic initiatives, reporting, and operational planning
• Manage hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews for operations team members

• 3+ years of experience in operations leadership or management role
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proven experience leading teams and driving accountability
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
• Proficiency with CRM systems and general business software tools
• Experience within financial services or a client-facing professional services environment is a plus
