Director of Operations

Core Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years in Manufacturing Operations management with current P&L responsibility

Preferred Requirements:

• MBA degree

The successful candidate will play a key role in directing and executing business goals and objectives to achieve profitable and sustainable growth. This includes implementing key business initiatives such as lean manufacturing and developing high-performance teams. The ideal candidate should be an impact player with a proven track record of accomplishments, understand the business implications of decisions, and demonstrate a strong orientation toward profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Complete leadership responsibility for performance and overall development of the business unit
• Manage the operations with a results-driven framework focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement to meet and exceed customer expectations and business goals
• Empower teams with a managerial style that is collaborative, inclusive, and balanced in approach to achieve commitments
• Plan and direct the manufacturing operations at the lowest cost consistent with established operating metrics/goals
• Integrate manufacturing, materials, and maintenance functions, ensuring processes result in high-quality throughout
• Lead efforts to continuously improve the division's competitive position, resulting in reduced turn time and cost
