Job description:

We are an established licensed homecare service agency with over 25 years of experience in providing high-quality home infusion services. We specialize in IVIG along with other specialty biologics therapies, delivering exceptional patient care.


Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) leader to oversee home infusion nursing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, high-quality infusion therapy in the home setting, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting the clinical competency and development of nursing staff.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the orientation, supervision, and ongoing competency validation of home infusion nursing staff
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, and organizational standards
  • Oversee the implementation of physician-ordered plans of care, including infusion therapies, vascular access device management, and patient education
  • Ensure appropriate staffing and scheduling based on patient census, geographic coverage, and acuity
  • Conduct routine clinical record audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with infusion therapy standards
  • Monitor adherence to infection control practices, medication administration protocols, and infusion-related policies and procedures
  • Lead quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI/CQI) initiatives specific to home infusion services
  • Collaborate with pharmacy, intake, and referral sources to ensure seamless coordination of care
  • Serve as a clinical resource for complex infusion therapies and troubleshooting in the field
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and referral partners to support continuity of care


Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Minimum of at least 3 years of nursing experience, with preference for home infusion, specialty infusion, or home health experience
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of infusion therapy, vascular access devices, and patient education in the home setting
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
