The Heritage Oaks Patient Enrichment Center, more commonly known as the ‘HOPE Center,’ is a newly constructed, state of the art, 16-bed, Psychiatric Health Facility, serving the acute psychiatric needs of the community in concert with the Sacramento County Department of Health and Human Services.

The Director of Nursing Services is responsible for the clinical practice of nursing which includes directing all services provided by the Nursing Services Department, directing and monitoring the facility-wide quality management assessment and quality performance improvement program, ensuring the facility programs follow all regulatory agencies, JOINT COMMISSION, NAPPH and State and Federal agencies.

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing; Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum two (2) years experience in nursing administration and/or dedicated leadership experience in psychiatric nursing; four (4) years experience in nursing administration and/or dedicated leadership experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
Additional Requirements: A thorough knowledge of JCAHO, HCFA, OSHA regulations and all state and federal regulatory standards. Current BLS or CPR certification
