ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Director of FP&A, you'll lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic analysis across the organization. You'll partner closely with business leaders to transform financial and operational data into actionable insights while supporting growth initiatives, acquisitions, and long-term planning.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across a growing multi-entity organization
  • Deliver executive and board-level reporting that turns data into actionable business insights
  • Build financial models and scenario analyses that support strategic decisions and long-term growth
  • Evaluate acquisitions, new sites, and investment opportunities through financial underwriting and diligence
  • Partner with leaders across the business to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve performance
  • Enhance reporting, analytics, and data integrity while helping build the future of the FP&A function
  • Develop and mentor a BI Analyst while establishing scalable reporting processes and standards

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CPA/CFA a plus.
  • 4+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. Exposure to M&A underwriting, transaction diligence, or investment analysis required; multi-site, education, healthcare, or services industry experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling; advanced experience with budgeting/planning systems, Power BI/dashboard tools, and ERP/GL data; comfort working with large data sets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present financial information effectively to executive and non-financial audiences.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed; thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is comfortable being both strategic and hands-on.
