Lynk Engineers is looking for a Director of Finance & Accounting to lead our financial operations and partner closely with leadership on key business decisions. This role goes beyond traditional accounting—you’ll drive financial clarity, improve project performance, and support the company’s continued growth, with a clear path to expanded executive leadership over time.

What You’ll Do

• Lead all accounting and finance operations, including financial reporting, AP/AR, payroll review, and cash management
• Oversee month-end and year-end close, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in accordance with GAAP
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections; provide insights to support strategic decisions
• Build and maintain financial dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting for leadership
• Oversee project accounting, including WIP, revenue recognition, utilization, and project profitability
• Partner with project managers and leadership to improve financial performance, billing, and collections
• Manage audits, tax compliance, and internal controls
• Optimize accounting systems and processes (Deltek Vantagepoint, Ajera, Excel)
• Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Active CPA license preferred
• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience (AEC preferred)
• 3–5+ years of leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, project accounting, revenue recognition, and WIP
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and multi-entity environments
• Proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint, Ajera, or similar systems
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
• Clear communication and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
