Job Title:             Director of Client Relations (Business Development Lead)

Reports To:         Executive Leadership

Location:             Hybrid (Headquarters + Regional Travel)

Compensation:   $100,000 – $120,000 annually + corporate benefits


Position Overview

Security Incorporated is seeking a results-driven Director of Client Relations to lead all business development and growth initiatives. While client engagement is a component of the role, the primary function is to drive revenue generation, expand market presence, and secure new contracts across government and commercial sectors. This individual will own the full lifecycle of business development, from opportunity identification and capture strategy through proposal submission and contract award. The Director will also lead a multidisciplinary support team, including a Graphics Designer, Pricing Specialist, Capture Specialist, Social Media & Website Administrator, and Technical Writer, ensuring all growth-related functions are aligned, efficient, and execution-focused.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Growth Leadership

  • Develop and execute usiness development strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue federal, state, municipal, and commercial opportunities
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities with defined win strategies
  • Lead go/no-go decisions and prioritize pursuits based on probability of win and strategic value


Capture & Proposal Management

  • Direct capture planning, including competitive analysis, teaming strategies, and positioning
  • Oversee the full proposal lifecycle to ensure compliance, quality, and competitiveness
  • Collaborate with pricing and technical resources to produce winning, cost-effective proposals
  • Ensure alignment with RFP requirements, including staffing, technical approach, and past performance


Client Engagement & Market Positioning

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and procurement officials
  • Represent the company at industry events, pre-bid meetings, and client engagements
  • Translate client needs and market intelligence into actionable pursuit strategies


Team Leadership & Execution

  • Lead and manage the business development team, setting clear expectations and accountability
  • Coordinate cross-functional support to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
  • Foster a performance-driven culture centered on responsiveness, ownership, and results


Marketing & Strategic Oversight

  • Oversee branding, digital presence, and development of marketing collateral
  • Track KPIs, pipeline performance, and revenue forecasts; report regularly to leadership
  • Continuously refine strategies based on data, market trends, and competitive insights


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in business development leadership (security or related services preferred)
  • Proven track record of winning government and/or commercial contracts
  • Strong knowledge of RFP processes, pricing strategies, and procurement environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent pursuits
