Director of Business Development

Sparks Law is a growing business litigation firm representing companies, entrepreneurs, and business owners throughout Texas. We are seeking a Director of Business Development whose primary responsibility is generating new client relationships and referral sources.
This role is focused on building relationships that result in high-value business litigation matters.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain relationships with accountants, bankers, wealth advisors, business brokers, consultants, and other professional referral sources
* Schedule and attend networking events, industry functions, lunches, and meetings
* Identify and cultivate new referral partnerships
* Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective clients and referral sources
* Coordinate speaking engagements, sponsorships, and business development initiatives
* Track referral activity and originated matters
* Work directly with the firm’s attorneys to convert opportunities into retained clients
* Represent the firm professionally in the business community
Qualifications
* Proven business development, sales, relationship management, or networking experience
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to confidently engage with business owners, executives, and professional advisors
* Highly organized and self-directed
* Comfortable attending events and building relationships independently
* Existing professional network is strongly preferred
