GNR has been retained to identify a DIRECTOR of BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT with a strong ARMY rolodex for this well-established global DEFENSE organization in the Huntsville region.
This 50+ yr old organization manufactures advanced air defense missile systems / electronic warfare to protect our great nation!
This is a GREENFIELD opportunity to establish a new office to expand the company’s presence and portfolio in the Huntsville, AL region.
- Reporting directly to the US Corporate VP of Business Development, you will be instrumental in building this site by utilizing your existing ARMY base rolodex of contacts, government & military offices, Primes & Defense Tier 1 companies etc. to capture new business contracts.
EXPERIENCE and SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 5+ years of Business Development experience specifically targeting ARMY, PEO Offices, AMCOM, SMDC, Gov't + Primes & Tier 1 DEFENSE organizations
- Experience with full-life cycle proposal development & negotiating contracts/agreements.
- ~30% travel as needed: trade shows & conferences, US & Int’l HQ
- Bachelor’s degree (prior military service is a plus)
- US Citizenship + current or ability to gain DoD clearance
