Reporting to the VP, this role will be a critical position which lead and elevate the Company's global revenue accounting function at a pivotal stage in the company’s growth and operational maturity.


Responsibilities :

  • This role is responsible for ensuring that revenue is recognized accurately, consistently, and with clear technical support across a complex software and SaaS environment that spans multiple products, channels, contract structures, and geographies.
  • Own the revenue accounting agenda for the enterprise within the controllership organization.
  • Set the standard for how Company reviews non-standard and high-impact deals, executes the revenue close, manages revenue-related reconciliations and analysis, supports external audit activity, and strengthens the control environment around revenue and contract-related accounting.
  • Partner cross-functionally on the introduction of new products, packaging models, and sales channels to ensure accounting implications are understood early and operationalized effectively.
  • Serve as a trusted partner across Deal Desk, Legal, Billing, Revenue Operations, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Business Technology.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required, with CPA strongly preferred.
  • Deep expertise in US GAAP and ASC 606, with the ability to apply revenue accounting guidance in a software and SaaS environment across complex arrangements.
  • Strong command of global revenue accounting in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive AI-powered efficiency and process improvement across the revenue accounting organization.
  • Strong technical judgment and documentation skills.
  • Experience contributing to the successful introduction of new products, commercial models, and sales channels.
  • Director-level leadership skills, including setting direction, developing talent, elevating team output, and creating accountability.
