Metal Prep Processor / Detailer

Pay: $22–$25/hour

Location: Vancouver, WA

We are seeking a Metal Prep Processor / Detailer to join our manufacturing team. This role focuses on preparing and manufacturing metal parts using saws, drill presses, and layout tools while working from blueprints and technical drawings. The ideal candidate has hands-on metal shop experience and takes pride in quality workmanship.

• Manufacture and prepare metal parts using chop saws, drill presses, and hand tools
• Perform punching, drilling, layout, grinding, and fitting operations
• Accurately read tape measures, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Follow specifications to ensure parts meet quality and dimensional requirements
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area

• 1+ year of experience in a metal shop or fabrication environment
• 1+ year of experience with sawing, punching, layout, and grinding
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Comfortable working with various metal materials

• Completion of a welding course or hands-on welding exposure
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

This is a hands-on manufacturing setting producing items such as park benches, playground equipment, fitness equipment, and more. The shop is open to the elements—cooler in winter and warmer in summer—and maintains a relaxed but results-driven atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Vancouver,WA.
