Desktop Support / IT Support Specialist

Location: Piedmont Rd. NE, Atlanta, GA 30324 (Onsite – 5 days/week)

Duration: 1-Year Contract-to-Hire

Pay: $27/hr. W2


About the Role


This position supports the Device Support Services team, providing white-glove IT support to internal employees. The role focuses on desktop/laptop support, Active Directory administration, device deployment, and IT service management, while delivering excellent customer service. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a well-established organization and a strong long-term career path for IT professionals.


Responsibilities


  • Provide desktop and laptop support for end users
  • Resolve technical issues via phone, email, and ticketing system
  • Track and document work within ITSM systems
  • Support device deployment and lifecycle management
  • Maintain application packages using MECM/SCCM and Intune
  • Configure and support Office 365, Outlook, browsers, VPN, and enterprise applications
  • Configure and manage Apple devices via AirWatch or Intune
  • Build and maintain gold images for company desktops and laptops
  • Troubleshoot peripherals, printers, and hardware issues
  • Participate in device support and deployment projects
  • Serve as a technical SME and escalation point when needed


Qualifications


  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 2+ years IT Support / Support Center experience
  • 1+ year Windows Administration experience
  • 1+ year Active Directory experience
  • IT Certifications required (CompTIA, MCP, or similar)
  • Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week in Atlanta
