Pay Range: $20.00/hr. to $21.00/hr. on W2 | Max $33.75/hr. on C2C

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Primary (Must-Have):

�7+ years of IT experience with hands-on expertise in Desktop Support, Depot, or Configuration Center operations

�Deep knowledge of End-User Device Lifecycle Management (Imaging, re-imaging, configuration, and setup of laptops/desktops)

�Strong deployment and administration experience with Desktop Management tools (SCCM / Microsoft Intune)

�Working proficiency with ServiceNow or similar ticketing/ITAM tools for asset tracking and inventory management

�Absolute willingness to travel regional/cross-state 1–2 times per month to factories and field offices to deploy hardware (All expenses covered)


Secondary (Good to Have):

�Experience with Microsoft Office 365 migration or user support

�Practical experience handling hardware break/fix, component replacements, and OEM warranty coordination

�Strong familiarity with logistics processes, including asset tagging, shipping/receiving, staging, and packaging


POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced IT Field Deployment & Desktop Support Engineer with 7+ years of IT support expertise to join our enterprise infrastructure deployment team onsite in East Moline, IL. This specialized role centers on managing the end-user device lifecycle within a fast-paced depot and configuration center environment. Working as part of a dedicated 5-person field tech team, you will build, image, and configure machines locally, while regularly traveling to regional corporate offices and manufacturing factories across Iowa, Illinois, and occasionally neighboring states (e.g., Kansas) to orchestrate physical deployment and hardware refreshes.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

�Perform high-volume imaging, re-imaging, initial configuration, and staging of laptops, desktops, AV equipment, and intelligent mobile devices.

�Drive end-to-end device refresh, data migration, and technical hardware disposal workflows within a structured configuration center environment.

�Troubleshoot complex physical hardware defects, executing local break/fix repairs or coordinating with external OEM warranty providers for replacement parts.

�Maintain strict chain-of-custody for enterprise inventory by processing asset tagging, barcoding, and logging physical deployments directly into ServiceNow ITAM software.

�Conduct monthly comprehensive physical inventory audits to reconcile warehouse assets with digitized systems records, correcting data gaps to maintain strict audit readiness.

�Collaborate closely with integrated logistics, freight courier, and shipping/receiving departments to prepare high-value hardware for transit across distribution points.

�Travel to regional corporate offices and manufacturing plants (1–2 times per month or as dictated by project milestones) to seamlessly install, test, and hand over equipment to end-users.
