Role Overview
Hexaware is seeking a Delivery Manager with a strong DevOps background to lead a Modern Delivery Toolchain managed services engagement for a large, regulated enterprise.
This role is responsible for end-to-end delivery, reliability, and continuous improvement of the DevOps platform ecosystem, including:
• Source Control
• CI/CD Pipelines
• Artifact Management
• Infrastructure-as-Code
• Container Platforms
• Security & Compliance
• Observability & ITSM Integration
The role combines service delivery leadership, technical expertise, and stakeholder management to ensure high availability, compliance, and measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities
1. Service Delivery, Governance & Reliability
• Own SLAs/OLAs, SLOs/SLIs, runbooks, and ITIL v4 processes (incident, problem, change)
• Lead major incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Ensure platform stability, uptime, and reliability
• Manage capacity planning, disaster recovery (DR), backup/restore, and high availability

2. Platform Operations & Modernization
• Manage DevOps toolchain roadmap, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle
• Standardize golden paths and platform blueprints
• Promote automation-first operations (self-service, GitOps, policy-as-code)

3. DevOps & Engineering Leadership
• Define best practices for:
o Branching strategies (trunk-based, GitFlow)
o CI/CD pipelines and release governance
o Artifact management and versioning
o Infrastructure-as-Code and container orchestration
• Establish reusable templates and reference architectures
• Collaborate with SREs to improve observability, performance, and reduce toil

4. Security, Risk & Compliance
• Implement:
o RBAC and least privilege access
o Identity federation (OIDC/SAML)
o Secrets management
• Drive DevSecOps adoption:
o SAST, DAST, SCA
o Artifact signing and supply chain security
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (SOX, PCI DSS, ISO 27001)

5. Stakeholder, Financial & Vendor Management
• Act as primary POC for stakeholders (engineering, security, infra, procurement)
• Manage demand intake, release planning, and dependencies
• Own budgets, license usage, and FinOps cost optimization
• Coordinate vendors, escalations, and roadmap alignment

6. Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
• Track and improve:
o DORA metrics
o MTTR (Mean Time to Recovery)
o Change success rate
o Platform adoption & customer satisfaction (CSAT/NPS)
• Deliver executive dashboards and service health reports
• Lead continuous improvement (Kaizen / CSI initiatives)

Required Qualifications
• 10–15 years of IT experience
• 5+ years in DevOps / Platform Engineering
• 3–5+ years in service delivery or engagement management
• Proven experience managing enterprise DevOps managed services in regulated environments

• CI/CD design, approvals, and deployment strategies
• Infrastructure-as-Code & configuration management
• Containerization & orchestration
• Observability & SRE practices (SLI/SLO, error budgets)
