The Deburring Technician carefully finishes aerospace and medical components by removing burrs and imperfections using a variety of hand tools and inspection equipment. This role focuses on visual and cosmetic deburring of primarily aluminum and some exotic materials, often under magnification, to ensure parts meet strict quality and cosmetic standards.
Responsibilities
You will join a smaller, highly technical aerospace shop that offers meaningful opportunities to grow into a skilled trade. Team members often start in entry-level deburring or assembly roles and receive hands-on training to learn how to run machines and expand their skill set. Working on complex aerospace components helps you build a strong mechanical foundation and a valuable, transferable skill base. The environment supports learning, growth, and long-term development in precision manufacturing.
Work Environment
The role is based in a small, open shop equipped with newer Haas mill machines and Citizen Swiss machines, offering exposure to modern CNC technology. The facility maintains a solid level of cleanliness, rated approximately 7.5 out of 10. Deburring work takes place at an individual desk or station, providing a dedicated space for focused, detailed tasks. You will frequently use microscopes and magnifying glasses, along with various hand tools, while working with aluminum and some exotic metals in a collaborative production environment.
