Manufacturing Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking dedicated Manufacturing Technicians to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing support team, focusing on ensuring the highest quality of machined components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive attitude, which will enable you to thrive in this dynamic environment.

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Location: Marquette, MI

Pay Range: $18.80 weekday shift, $21.05 weekend shift

Shift:
Day Shift: Mon-Thurs, 6AM-4:30 PM
Weekend Shift: Fri-Sun, 6AM-6:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform buffing, deburring, polishing, and finishing of CNC-milled parts to meet specifications
• Handle and process machined components carefully to prevent damage or dimensional changes
• Inspect parts for cosmetic and dimensional compliance using precision tools
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records
• Maintain tools, fixtures, and inspection equipment in proper working condition

What's Needed?

• Temporary, full time position for 4-10 months
• Experience with precision inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Ability to learn CMM inspection and blueprint reading
• Basic understanding of GD&T principles
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
