Debt Finance Attorney

The Position:

An elite global law firm is seeking a Debt Finance Associate to join its market-leading practice in New York. This is an opportunity to work on some of the most sophisticated financing transactions in the market, representing private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, borrowers, and lenders on acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, refinancings, and other complex debt transactions.

Requirements:

• Admission to the New York Bar (or eligibility to obtain admission).
• 2–7+ years of experience in debt finance, leveraged finance, banking, or related corporate transactions at a leading law firm.
• Experience representing borrowers, private equity sponsors, lenders, or other market participants in complex financing transactions.
• Strong familiarity with credit agreements, commitment papers, security documents, intercreditor arrangements, and related financing documentation.
