About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Dealer Finance Manager who will serve as the operational owner of the entire dealership journey with CarWire.
This individual is responsible for the successful and seamless transition of a dealer client from sales to operations — executing integration setup, onboarding, training, and maintaining long-term adoption of the CarWire solution.
As an early hire at a fast-moving startup, this person must be equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to get the work done.
This is not a narrow onboarding or support role, and it is not a role for someone who waits to be told what to do. It is the central operational function responsible for guiding dealers through CarWire’s workflows with consistency, accuracy, and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the full dealer journey from signed contract to confident, active usage — including handoff from Sales, integration setup, onboarding, training, and long-term adoption.
• Configure and validate all system integrations, ACH parameters, lender protocols, user profiles, and workflow settings — getting into the details when needed.
• Drive sustained adoption of workflows across the dealer base, identifying friction points and efficiency gaps before they become problems.
• Train CFOs, Controllers, Office Managers, and Title Clerks across all workflows, ensuring efficient and productive use of the CarWire solution.
Who You Are
• This role is not for someone who needs hand-holding. You dig in, figure it out, and come back with answers. You connect the dots across accounting, operations, and technology.
• Deep hands-on experience in dealership operations, automotive software, or fintech workflows (dealer accounting experience preferred).
• Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented — you manage complexity across multiple accounts without losing accuracy.
• Technically fluent — comfortable working with integrations, data, and workflow configuration.
• Strong working knowledge of dealership accounting practices, including floorplan management, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience with DMS systems such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, DealerSocket, or similar platforms.
• Strong communicator who can train, guide, and influence operational behavior.
• Self-starter who takes ownership and follows through.
• Resourceful problem-solver who can navigate ambiguity and find answers independently.
• Curious and driven to understand the “why” behind processes.

Compensation
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. We take comp seriously and won’t waste your time.
