Job Description
We are currently seeking a contract Database Architect to be a key resource on a technical services team for our client, the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services(DFPS).
Responsibilities
The Database Architect will serve as a technical advisor supporting the agency’s initiative with preparation to modernize to a new case management system. Client requires a data architect to work with client's technology and program divisions to assist with data architecture and solution design for transition to the new case management system. The Worker for the project will work with and assist client’s technology, data and program teams to support review of processes, policies, and practice.
The Database Architect will design, develop, and maintain complex data models that support child welfare data initiatives. This role requires expertise in data modeling, database design, and data governance to ensure accurate and efficient data storage, retrieval, and processing. This position will work with cross functional teams and external vendors to logically model the flow of data between agency systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in child welfare government data systems, working with relational and non-relational databases, and implementing best practices in data architecture.
The activities shall align with client’s compliance and federal and state regulations and its goal of providing uninterrupted services to the children and families it serves. Data architecture and management services are needed in support of data designing, modeling and cleansing efforts for the new system.
