Data Center Architect
Dallas, TX (Onsite – 5 days/week)
Compensation:
- Base salary up to $235,000
- Bonus (company + individual performance)

The Opportunity
We’re hiring an experienced Data Center Architect to lead the design, scaling, and optimization of large-scale data center infrastructure in a highly complex, enterprise environment.
This is a hands-on, strategic role where you’ll influence everything from physical infrastructure design to long-term capacity planning and modernization initiatives. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional technical teams to shape next-generation data center capabilities.
What You’ll Be Doing
Design & Architecture
- Define and design physical + logical data center layouts (racks, cabling, power, cooling, networking)
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and best practices
Capacity Planning
- Monitor infrastructure utilization and forecast future requirements
- Plan expansions and upgrades proactively
Performance & Optimization
- Improve efficiency across power usage, cooling systems, and network performance
- Drive cost optimization initiatives
Security & Resilience
- Implement physical and cyber security standards
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Work with vendors on procurement, deployment, and maintenance
- Partner with engineering teams and business stakeholders
Project Leadership
- Lead data center build-outs and upgrades end-to-end
- Own budgets, timelines, and delivery outcomes
Technical Leadership
- Mentor engineering teams and provide architectural guidance
- Drive initiatives across virtualization, automation, and modernization
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in data center architecture at scale
- Deep understanding of:
- Networking
- Servers & storage
- Power & cooling systems
- Proven experience designing and documenting data center environments
- Strong problem-solving and project delivery experience
- Ability to communicate across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Leadership experience within engineering or infrastructure teams
