SKILLS REQUIRED:

Primary (Must-Have):

�18 to 20+ years of IT experience with a proven track record as an Enterprise Architect

�Deep specialized expertise leading technical systems integration for corporate Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

�Expertise designing and unifying advanced network architectures using Cisco, Fortinet, Aryaka, and Viptela/Fortinet SD-WAN platforms

�Comprehensive infrastructure architecture knowledge spanning multi-tenant Data Centers, Cloud environments, and Information Security frameworks

�Absolute flexibility to travel 1–2 days per week (including overnight stays) to regional sites as dictated by integration milestones


Secondary (Good to Have):

�Broad background establishing corporate IT governance blueprints, enterprise data models, and software solution policies

�Experience managing cross-functional deployment teams and utilizing data-driven project tracking to enforce corrective actions when timelines drift

�Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to advise, coach, and align executive leadership with engineering teams


POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an Elite Enterprise Architect with over 20 years of technical leadership experience to spearhead a high-priority corporate Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) infrastructure consolidation project. Working in a hybrid-remote capacity with weekly regional travel, you will act as the principal architect bridging business objectives and IT execution. This critical role centers on evaluating, designing, and unifying disparate enterprise ecosystems—specifically focusing on networking (SD-WAN), data centers, cloud infrastructure, and security policies—to establish a single, highly secure, and optimized corporate environment.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

�Author, refine, and govern the comprehensive enterprise IT architecture roadmap, setting strict data, solution, and infrastructure policies to align merging organizations.

�Architect and oversee the convergence of complex enterprise network infrastructures, heavily utilizing Cisco, Fortinet, Aryaka, and Viptela SD-WAN technologies.

�Translate corporate M&A objectives into scalable engineering requirements, working alongside executive leadership, technical teams, and subject matter experts (SMEs).

�Provide active technical oversight and milestone auditing for deployed project engineering staff, ensuring strict adherence to baseline architectural integration plans.

�Diagnose schedule or architecture drift dynamically, implementing swift corrective measures and technical adjustments to keep the M&A pipeline on track.

�Standardize hybrid cloud models and centralized data center configurations to maximize performance, isolate vulnerabilities, and maintain business continuity during cutover windows.
