Job Description

The cycle counter will work Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with potential extended hours up to 3:30 PM during busy periods and occasional hours on Saturdays as needed. The role involves operating a sit-down forklift and utilizing Excel for data entry. Key duties include monitoring and controlling inventory practices to ensure accuracy, maintaining product identification and location programs, researching inventory discrepancies, resolving potential issues, and routinely counting physical inventory.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift for inventory management.
• Utilize Excel for accurate data entry related to inventory.
• Monitor and control inventory practices to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain product identification and location programs.
• Research inventory discrepancies and resolve potential issues.
• Perform routine physical inventory counts.

Essential Skills

• Experience in inventory count and cycle counts.
• Proficiency in inventory accuracy and inventory check.
• Experience in a production environment.
• Capability to operate a forklift.
• Excel data entry skills.
• Knowledge in warehouse and stockroom operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in production and general labor.
• Experience in manufacturing industry.
• Skills in warehouse inventory and stocking shelves.
• Experience in inventory control.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.

The pay range for this position is $17.54 - $17.54/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Rockford,IL.
