Job Title: Mobility Support Specialist (Customer Support – Mobile Devices)

Compensation: 17-18/hour

Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire


Overview:

We’re looking for a customer-focused Mobility Support Specialist to support mobile devices and telecom services for a growing customer base. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, is comfortable troubleshooting mobile devices, and thrives in a fast-paced, call-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for mobile devices (cell phones, tablets, etc.) across multiple customer accounts
  • Troubleshoot issues related to email access, device settings, cellular data, and basic connectivity
  • Assist customers with tools such as 2-factor authentication and mobile applications (based on access level)
  • Handle ~20–30 inbound/outbound calls per day, ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Document all interactions and resolutions in the internal ticketing system (Connect)
  • Guide customers toward using the MTAC Help Desk where appropriate
  • Deliver high-quality, customer-first support—ensuring every interaction leaves the customer satisfied


What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong customer service mindset—comfortable building rapport and maintaining positive conversations
  • Experience troubleshooting smartphones (iOS/Android), email, and general mobile settings
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document tickets
  • Ability to problem-solve and handle basic to moderate technical issues independently
  • Team player who is eager to take initiative and get involved in projects or new customer onboarding


Environment & Schedule:

  • Small, collaborative team environment
  • Call-center style support role
  • Schedule falls between 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM (M–F), with typical shifts around 10–7 or 11–8
