We're looking for an individual with flexible skills who can provide support in the following areas to help meet our mission:

Duties:

  • Work closely with staff in all departments to ensure proper product distribution functions and to help meet company objectives.
  • Communicate with hospital labs/customers for special requests and services.
  • Assess staffing needs and prioritize workloads to ensure timely and effective completion of work.
  • Ensure training, documentation of training, and competency checks are completed for new and existing staff as needed. Provide staff performance and training needs feedback to manager as needed.
  • Assist with validation of systems to include: review of vendor validation plans, test development, test execution, analysis of results, and recommendations to Manager of Technical Services.
  • Perform and document all product orders and deliveries according to SOP to maintain cGMP compliance
  • Attend all mandatory MBS training within required time frames.
  • Maintain compliance with all MBS safety policies, including disposal of hazardous waste and use of appropriate PPE.
  • Participate in departmental staff meetings as required.
  • Collect QA indicators and submit to manager in a timely manner.
  • Oversee export of expired blood products.
  • Monitor product inventory levels, ordering and listing products when necessary.
  • Ensure timely delivery of inventory and inter-department mail to and from mobiles and fixed sites.
  • Ensure freight is received, processed, stored and distributed internally as appropriate.
  • Maintain excellent customer service with hospitals/customers through communication and documentation of orders; preparation and documentation of products for delivery; arranging most effective and timely delivery of products.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Valid MS driver's license and excellent driving record with personal automobile liability insurance coverage
  • Capable of making decisions independently oppose to soliciting cooperation of others.
  • A big picture thinker backed by an added focus on accomplishing the goal with high standards and demands the highest quality of work from co-workers and subordinates.
  • Confident, Self-disciplined, innovated individual who primarily controls established goals from start to finish with a strong demand for high quality and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work and lead others in a multi- task / project environment at a faster than-average pace.
  • Communicates in an authoritative, direct manner and is capable of delegating some authority and task with the desire to follow up- closely and critically for high standards.
  • Ability to achieve goals in a timely manner.
