Position Details:

The Customer Service position at Genesis Diamonds offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing valuable support to our clients. Location: Nashville, TN

Schedule: Monday - Saturday | 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM plus some Sundays for Inventory/Special Events

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance with their jewelry-related inquiries.
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's point-of-sale system.
• Address and resolve customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
• Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and foster loyalty.
• Inspect jewelry for any signs of damage or wear and report issues to management.
• Assist with the organization and display of jewelry to ensure an attractive and accessible presentation.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of display cases and all work areas.
• Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Replenish supplies as needed and ensure that all store equipment is functioning properly.
• Assist with visual merchandising and store layout changes to enhance the shopping experience.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and customer transactions.
• Assist with stock management, including receiving and processing new inventory.
• Contribute to the store’s promotional activities and events as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Availability to work Monday - Saturday and the month of December
• Proficient in using computer (POS) systems and software applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a fine jewelry or luxury goods environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Knowledge of merchandising principles and best practices for displaying products effectively.
• Familiarity with product demonstrations and the ability to convey product knowledge confidently.
• A passion for fine jewelry and an understanding of current trends in the industry.
