The Customer Service & Project Coordinator is responsible for managing customer orders and projects from order entry through final delivery and close-out. This role serves as the primary internal point of contact for customers, outside sales representatives, and manufacturing partners, ensuring accurate execution, clear communication, and a high level of customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do:
- Customer Service & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding orders and project status; communicate with customers, manufacturers, and outside sales representatives; respond promptly to inquiries; resolve order or delivery issues
- Project & Order Management: Manage projects from order receipt through shipment, delivery, and close-out; track orders, lead times, backorders, and delivery schedules; identify and communicate potential delays; maintain organized project documentation
- Order Processing & Accuracy: Enter orders accurately into ERP and CRM systems; verify pricing, quantities, specifications, and delivery requirements; process order changes and returns; ensure compliance with manufacturer policies
- Internal Coordination: Support outside sales representatives with tracking and follow-up; coordinate internally to ensure timely execution; maintain accurate records and reporting
What We’re Looking For:
- Required: 3+ years of experience in customer service, project coordination, order management, or sales support; strong organizational skills; attention to detail; excellent communication skills; experience with ERP and/or CRM systems; ability to manage multiple priorities
- Preferred: Experience with a manufacturer rep agency, distributor, or manufacturing organization; experience supporting outside sales teams; industry experience in industrial, electrical, HVAC, or construction environments
