The incumbent is responsible for managing various projects, ensuring follow-up, both to clients and to internal staff.
Key responsibilities
Ensure that Health and Safety Frontmatec’s policy and applicable laws and rules are followed during installations
After receiving the order, plan and organize the transfer of the sales project to the project department, making sure to have all the information necessary for the execution of the project
Participate actively in meetings and discussions with clients, with the promotion and valorization of the company and its products in mind
Be responsible for communications with the client and ensure that the right information is distributed to the right stakeholders
Conduct day-to-day project management by ensuring that client quotes, timelines and calculated costs are met, at each stage of the operations, in accordance with the Project Model
Ensure that the design of the elevation drawings meets the specifications and the health and safety standards of the food industry
Plan and direct approval meetings for elevation drawings at the customer's site and ensure compliance with the specifications
Ensure that changes to the original order are approved by the customer (cost and solution) prior to manufacturing Follow up on financial aspects of projects and approve any deviation to the calculated cost, before execution (ex: subcontracting, materials, etc.)
Solve the problems associated with its projects by proposing innovative solutions
Plan the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and ensure corrective action is taken if necessary
Visually inspect the integration of the project in the factory as well as participate in tests to validate that the equipment meets the customer quote as agreed
Conduct planning and management of the facility and start-up, ensuring that all participants are trained and informed of plant health and safety standards
Ensure that Health and Safety Frontmatec’s policy and applicable laws and rules are followed during installation
Ensure the execution of the TOC (Turn-over certificate) and transfer of responsibility to the after-sales service department
Carry out, at the end of the project, a report of the various opportunities to be taken into consideration for future projects, with the aim of continuous improvement
Conceive, from time to time, factory plans to provide information to clients and other departments

Good knowledge of health and safety standards in slaughterhouses

Mastering AutoCAD
Advanced English (spoken and written)
Act as a Frontmatec ambassador
Education and experience
DEC in Mechanical Engineering combined with several years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Food Engineering or Automated Production
Experience in project management Working condition Travel and frequent overtime
