CT Technologist - Grafton, WI
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a high-volume imaging department at a 167-bed Level III Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have strong experience performing a broad range of CT procedures, including stroke imaging, CT angiography (CTA), and contrast-enhanced studies, while maintaining exceptional patient care and image quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Conduct routine and advanced CT imaging, including:
- CT Head, Chest, Abdomen, and Pelvis
- CT Angiography (CTA)
- Stroke Protocol Imaging
- Contrast and Non-Contrast Studies
- Safely administer contrast media following established protocols.
- Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and image acquisition for optimal diagnostic quality.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Accurately document patient information and imaging procedures in Epic EMR.
- Follow radiation safety, infection control, and departmental quality standards.
- Assist in maintaining CT equipment and reporting operational issues.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience required.
- First-time travelers considered upon review.
Certifications:
- BLS (AHA)
- ARRT (R)
- ARRT (CT)
