Our client, a global leader in media & entertainment is looking for a Sr. Risk Manager to join their team in New York City.
***This is a hybrid 12-month contract to hire position. Candidates are expected to work onsite 4 days/week in New York City***
What You Will Be Doing
- Will support the Risk Management & Partnerships team and ensure the delivery of the organization’s core Credit Risk Management functions, including risk measurement and assessment, risk mitigation, risk reporting, risk governance, and accounts receivable oversight.
- Will be critical in ensuring that financial risks are properly identified, evaluated, and managed to protect the company’s revenue and support sustainable business growth.
- Will report to the Director, Risk Management with dotted line to Sr. Director, Partnerships.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years experience. BA/BS 4-year degree in accounting, finance or economics from Accredited institution
- 5+ years finance/accounting experience
- SAP experience required; familiar with finance functions & basic T-codes in general ledgers and sub ledgers
- BPC experience required: must have the ability to build reports independently and run queries when requested
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint required
- General knowledge of US GAAP
- requires strong analytical judgment, the ability to interpret complex financial and qualitative information, and the leadership capability to influence and collaborate across multiple business areas.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion
