Job Title: Creative Coordinator

Location: Hybrid – New York City (4 days onsite per week)

Contract Duration: 6 months

Pay Range: $30-$32 per hour


Job mission

An exciting chance to join the Branding Management Pillar of the Marketing and Communications department, and contribute to the development of local creative strategy, content, and branding programs. The ideal candidate is a creative professional with experience in the luxury and communications field, capable of pairing creative execution with business strategy. Fluent in all communications channels (both online and offline), they must be an adaptable team player, willing to learn and demonstrate strong initiative along with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Reporting directly to Senior Manager of Creative Communications, this Temp Coordinator will be responsible for successfully project managing all creative productions as defined by the Creative Communications team in collaboration with other cross-functional teams. Through managing project scopes, timelines, budgets, approvals, and deliverables, this role is crucial to bringing every project to fruition. The ideal candidate is a creative and communications strategist with a strong mastery of managing multiple creative projects and understand the logistics of content production. They should demonstrate intellectual curiosity in the digital space with an eye for design, has a working knowledge of graphic and web design and is an enthusiastic team player with a strong written and verbal communications.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management Support

  • Coordinate all Creative Comms project elements with familiarity of Asana, Monday.com or other similar-style PM tools.
  • Act as a point of contact for all creative projects, facilitating communication and information flow.
  • Build scopes, timelines and retro plans; allocate resources; and track approvals, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple projects.
  • Understand the creative process from pre-production to post-production.
  • Manage relationships with external creative agencies, internal teams, and stakeholders throughout project life span.
  • Track important internal approvals and ensure deadlines are met
  • Build project reports and post-mortem analysis

Budget & Legal Management Support

  • Monitor and update the Creative Coms budget tracker
  • Define projections and track monthly spend
  • Receive and process all invoices and create purchasing orders in SAP
  • Handle creative vendor paperwork, contracts and SOWs
  • Ensure compliance and Richemont processes

Creative Benchmarking

  • Track key competitor activity in North America, with a focus on creative productions, native programs, innovative formats, and overall brand messaging.
  • Collect information during key periods and notable events to build reports and extract pertinent insights.
  • Propose new approaches, guideline optimizations and deepen the client-centric strategy.
  • Help source new creative partners, agencies, freelancers, and vendors along with maintaining the creative database.
  • Monitor social media trends and formats in the luxury landscape and beyond to recommend relevant activations and innovative advertising formats.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required, a background in Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, Advertising, or Marketing.

Required Experience

  • Experience in creative, media advertising, digital communications, or editorial (preferably in luxury, fashion, or beauty).

Technical Skills/Abilities

  • Project Management experience through Asana, Monday.com or similar tools.
  • Excellent English writing, speaking and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of French writing, speaking and translations a plus.
  • Digitally savvy with existing and emerging social media platforms.
  • Mac proficient and expert in Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Adobe Acrobat, and major graphic or video file formats a plus.

Personal Skills

  • Self-starter who is capable of managing and delegating multiple time-sensitive tasks simultaneously in an organized manner.
  • Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

This is a W2 position.
