A growing portfolio of consumer brands is seeking a strategic and innovative Creative Director - UX/UI to lead and elevate the user experience and interface design function across multiple ecommerce businesses. This role will serve as the creative leader for a centralized internal agency supporting several established brands, helping shape compelling digital experiences that strengthen each brand while driving performance and growth.
The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of leadership, design vision, and hands-on digital expertise across lead generation, web, and mobile platforms. In this role, you will guide a growing UX/UI team of approximately 11 people, with the opportunity to scale the organization to 20.
Reporting directly to the Executive Creative Director, this is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned creative leader who thrives in a fast-paced ecommerce environment and is excited by the challenge of influencing the digital presence of multiple brands through one central creative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and inspire the UX/UI team across web and mobile initiatives.
- Define and drive the overall UX/UI creative vision for multiple distinct brands.
- Oversee user-centered design strategy for ecommerce and lead generation experiences.
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure creative solutions align with brand and business objectives.
- Build team capabilities, mentor designers, and support organizational growth.
- Establish and refine design processes, workflows, and standards for quality and consistency.
- Present concepts and recommendations clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
- Champion innovation, testing, and continuous improvement across all digital touchpoints.
Preferred Background
- Proven experience leading UX/UI or digital creative teams in an ecommerce environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating web, mobile, and lead generation design success.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing creative teams.
- Ability to balance brand storytelling, customer experience, and conversion-focused design.
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
- Experience with design systems, CRO, analytics, and customer journey optimization preferred.
