Cost Accountant

LHH is partnering with a global technology leader in the HVAC space on a search for a Cost Accountant for their Grand Rapids, MI location (hybrid). In this role, you will be responsible for calculating and analyzing production costs such as materials, labor and overhead. You will also manage inventory valuation, assist with budgeting and financial forecasting. They are looking for someone strong in analysis, attention to detail and proficient in accounting principles. This is a hybrid role where you will work in the office anywhere from 0-2 times each week. It is a direct hire role offering a salary between $72K - $87K depending on experience. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Standard costing, assist in annual cost roll in Oracle and SAP and support intercompany costing and reconciliations
  • Analysis and reporting of manufacturing costs, investigating and explaining variances
  • Month end and audit activities, inventory level management, budgeting and forecasting


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • 3+ Years of experience working within cost accounting
  • Strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills
