About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Legal Assistant with 1–3 years of law firm experience to support multiple attorneys in closing-heavy transactional work. This role offers variety across deal types and direct client interaction in one of the firm’s largest practice groups.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and format professional correspondence and transactional documents.
  • Prepare, assemble, and track closing documents, including signature pages and closing books.
  • Maintain corporate minute books and assist with closing checklists.
  • Act as liaison between attorneys and clients, facilitating communication and document transmittal.
  • Process new file openings, engagement letters, attorney time entries, and client invoices.
  • Provide administrative support (calendar/email management, phone coverage, travel arrangements, expense processing).
  • Monitor attorney inboxes and electronically file client matters.


Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of law firm experience supporting a corporate or transactional group.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with iManage and InTapp preferred.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $48,000 – $91,000, based on experience and expertise
  • Full benefits package
  • In-office in Minneapolis, MN
