Develop and optimize PLC programs to improve machine efficiency, reduce cycle times, and increase overall uptime
Design and implement control systems for high-performance automated equipment, including component selection, panel layout, and schematic development
Program, test, and troubleshoot automation systems to ensure reliable machine operation
Collaborate with and integrate various systems, including PLCs, servo and stepper motors, HMIs, motion controllers, power supplies, and communication networks
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in PLC programming within a manufacturing or automation environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting
Experience with CAD software for electrical schematics and panel design
Familiarity with vision systems is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
