Position Summar

yOne of our clients in the Lawrenceville, GA area is currently hiring for a Controls Engineer opening. This role is responsible for designing, programming, commissioning, and supporting industrial automation systems for manufacturing and production environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing PLC programs from scratch, managing automation projects from concept through implementation, and integrating advanced technologies such as vision systems and industrial controls

Required Qualificat

  • ionsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipl
  • ine.5+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or manufacturing engineering environme
  • nts.Demonstrated experience programming PLCs from scratch and developing control architectu
  • res.Experience managing projects from cradle to grave, including design, implementation, commissioning, and supp
  • ort.Strong electrical design experience, including control panel design and schematic developm
  • ent.Experience integrating and supporting machine vision syst
  • ems.Knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, DeviceNet, Profinet, or simi
