Vice President of Finance / Controller, CPA a plus

Compensation: $160,000 base salary + bonus
Overview
We are partnering with a growing IT equipment company supporting large enterprise clients. As the organization continues to scale, they are seeking a hands-on VP of Finance / Controller to lead core accounting operations while also driving financial planning and analysis. This hire will be building the department and putting controls in place. As well as completing an audit this year.
This role will serve as a key hands on financial leader within the organization, responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, building scalable processes, and providing actionable insights to support business decision-making
.Key Responsibilitie
- sOversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reportin
- gLead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timelines
- sMaintain and strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedure
- sPrepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAA
- POwn budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processe
- sPartner with leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-makin
- gMonitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial health of the busines
- sSupport audits and manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partner
- sBuild and scale financial infrastructure to support company growt
hQualification
- s10-15 years of progressive experience in accounting AND finance, with at least 3-5 years of leadership responsibilitie
- sPrior experience in a Controller or VP-level finance role within a small to mid-sized compan
- yStrong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal control
- sExperience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis (FP&A
