Frederick Fox is partnering with a high-growth fintech backed by top-tier investors. The company is now looking to bring in a Controller to take ownership of the accounting function and help scale the finance infrastructure from the ground up.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own the GL, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Build and implement accounting policies, controls, and processes
- Oversee audits, compliance, and regulatory reporting
- Partner closely with leadership on scaling finance operations
- Get into the detail — this is a hands-on role in a fast-moving environment
What they’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ CPA or MBA coupled with 8+ years of accounting experience
- Proven experience within start-up / high-growth environments as a Controller/Accounting Manager
- Strong foundation in US GAAP + audit background (Big 4/Mid-tier a plus)
- Experience in fintech, lending, or financial services
- Comfortable building from scratch and improving what’s there
- Someone who can operate both strategically and in the weeds
