Venteon Finance is currently seeking a CONTROLLER for a stable manufacturing client in the Hartford, CT area.
REQUIREMENTS / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 10+ Years of manufacturing industry experience
- 3+ years of Leadership / Managerial experience
- Strong understanding of Manufacturing including Standard Cost and Inventory
- ERP Systems experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads the full scope of accounting processes for Plant Location.
- Leading role in the financial close and reconciliation process, accountable for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure that local statutory reporting and tax authority requirements are met.
- Ensures that policies and procedures adhere to a system of internal controls, and serves as the lead for internal and external audit requirements.
- Serves as a primary point of contact with Corporate Accounting, addressing questions and reporting needs.
- Leads, develops, and coaches local accounting team.
- Key role in the financial planning cycle - providing various inputs and performing reviews in the areas of revenue, material, headcount, plant expenses, and working capital (following standard financial planning process flows).
