Controller / Director of Finance | South Coast Metro
This is not a typical Controller role.
We’re partnering with a well-established wholesale company in the South Coast Metro area that is looking for a true finance partner to the CEO. Someone who can bring clarity to the numbers, build out KPIs, improve forecasting, and help guide the business forward.
The company is stable, team-oriented, and highly relationship-driven. This role offers real visibility and the opportunity to influence decisions at the leadership level.
What you’ll be doing:
• Own the full finance function including reporting, cash flow, and close
• Partner directly with the CEO on business performance and strategy
• Build and track KPIs to drive better decision-making
• Lead and mentor a small accounting team
• Improve processes and bring more structure to the finance function
What we’re looking for:
• Controller or Director of Finance experience
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and business partnering skills
• Experience in product-based, wholesale, or distribution environments preferred
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically
• High EQ, executive presence, and strong communication skills
Compensation: $165,000 to $180,000 base
Location: South Coast Metro (fully onsite)
