Job Title: Contracts Manager

Location: 94086 (Onsite/Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $33.68–$43.30/hour

(2 MONTH CONTRACT)

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Manager to oversee a broad range of sales agreements, including Statements of Work (SOWs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), evaluation agreements, and non-disclosure agreements. This role requires strong negotiation skills, sound judgment, and the ability to operate autonomously while managing risk and protecting company interests. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive contracts to closure efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end contract drafting, review, and negotiation for MSAs, SOWs, Order Forms, NDAs, and evaluation agreements
  • Provide strategic risk assessment and legal guidance to internal stakeholders, ensuring business objectives are met while minimizing exposure
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to finalize agreements quickly while maintaining high standards
  • Develop and improve contract templates, playbooks, and approval workflows to scale operations
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on contract processes, legal standards, and fallback guidelines
  • Influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, to drive decision-making and project alignment

Top 3 Responsibilities:

  • Own full lifecycle contract negotiation and drafting
  • Act as a trusted advisor for risk mitigation and business decision support
  • Improve processes, tools, and standards to enhance efficiency and scalability

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to operate independently with high discretion in client and vendor communications
  • Strong influencing skills with experience engaging cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Deep knowledge of contract approval processes, legal standards, and negotiation best practices
  • Experience drafting and negotiating complex, non-standard contract terms

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to distill complex legal or business issues into clear, concise insights for leadership
  • Experience managing large-scale legal or contract-related projects (templates, policies, systems)
  • Strong business acumen with a focus on supporting sales-driven environments
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and collaboration tools like Slack
