Contract Manager

Robert Half is seeking a Contract Manager to be responsible for overseeing the full contract lifecycle, from drafting and review through negotiation, execution, compliance, renewal, and closeout. This role works closely with legal, procurement, finance, and business stakeholders to help ensure contracts align with organizational objectives, mitigate risk, and meet applicable policies and regulations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and revise a wide range of contracts, including vendor, client, service, procurement, confidentiality, and consulting agreements
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, including intake, routing, approvals, execution, amendments, renewals, and terminations
  • Evaluate contract terms and conditions to identify legal, financial, operational, and compliance risks
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure contract language supports business needs and company standards
  • Maintain contract templates, clause libraries, and documentation for consistency and efficiency
  • Track key contract dates, deliverables, milestones, renewals, and obligations
  • Monitor contract performance and support issue resolution related to scope, service levels, pricing, and compliance
  • Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Support audits and reporting by maintaining accurate contract records and status updates
  • Recommend process improvements to strengthen contract administration and governances



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in contract management, contract administration, procurement, legal operations, or a related function
  • Strong knowledge of contract terms, negotiation practices, and risk management principles
  • Experience working with contract lifecycle management systems or document management tool
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
